01SELF-BELIEF

"Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve."

Napoleon Hill, ~1930

The subconscious is always working; if you can believe it, you can make it happen Hill believed the thought isn't about just mere wishful thinking. But the real belief in oneself to be able to accomplish such goals or change, combined with the determination and discipline and sustained effort, is the foundation of success in one's goals.

Try this

Write down one thing you want to believe about yourself. Say it out loud three times. Notice if your body resists or accepts it. It is okay to dream big and have big goals, but understand that big goals come with big sacrifices. Do not limit yourself

02LAW

"To gain something, something of equal value must be lost."

The law of equivalent exchange

There are always opposites in the world; there is no light without dark, no joy without pain. If you find yourself that you are not where you want to be, that you still feel like you are not moving towards the goal you set, and that it may be too difficult to reach. Consider the idea that perhaps your sacrifices have not added up to the reward you seek at the end. Perhaps you need to give it more effort, more time, more energy. In the end, the suffering and pain you go through will equal out to the reward or goal you seek.

Try this

Analyze your end destination. Is it a mere wish or a dream? Something so worthy that it cannot be obtained by mere desire. Do some self-reflection: are you truly working as diligently as you say you are, or could you work harder?

03Acceptance

Failure is the best teacher.

Acceptance

We should all treat failure as a stepping stool. We should treat losses as lessons in what not to do or what to do. There should be no doubt occurring in your heart; in your mind that's okay, but in your soul and heart you must believe that no matter how many times you fail, you must keep going. Failure teaches us many important skills we must adapt in our lives to go forward. Never give up, find the relentless drive to succeed. Most importantly, failure brings out the indomitable human spirit inside you, the why, the "X factor." With failure, you must find the fire inside you to keep going, and only then do you overcome it.

THERE IS NO TRYING FOR THIS THERE IS ONLY DOING

When failure creates illusions of self-doubt and disbelief, banish it away. Repulse at the idea of giving up, at the idea of accepting defeat, because if you let the doubts consume you, then and only then have you truly failed. If you have the desire to continue, to keep going, failure is nothing but an illusion.

04STOICISM

"The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts."

Marcus Aurelius

Aurelius believed that people often suffer not from what happens to them, but because of how they interpret situations and outcomes. Your mind is powerful; to feed it negative energy and thoughts only sink you deeper into the void. You must think of positive thoughts and try to keep your head level for your own sake and sanity.

Try this

When you wake up and before you lay your head at night, think of positive thoughts; make them drastic, thoughts you feel cocky or arrogant to think of. Say them to yourself, and repeat to yourself that you will be what you say you are. Ex:  I am great, I will become strong, I will succeed. Do not say, I think I can be great; I think I can succeed.

One idea a day is plenty.

You don't have to fix your whole mind today. Just try one of these on like a jacket. If it fits, keep it. If not, hang it back up.
